MINCETUR Launches National Competition for Innovation and Best Practices in Community-Based Rural Tourism

the National Rural Community Tourism (PNTRC) MINCETUR has launched the competition "INNOVATRC" aimed at entrepreneurs and innovators in Peru, which began on 15 January to 18 deadline of February like this nationally.

The Sernanp through Nor Yauyos protects Cochas 221 000 hectares of land in the regions of Lima and Junín

The National Service of Protected Areas by the State (SERNANP), through the leadership of Nor Yauyos 268.48 Cochas protects 221 hectares of natural pastures (ichu), archaeological sites and animals wild between the regions of Lima and Junin.

Heads of Natural Protected Areas Junín Region meet to review draft agreement to be signed between the SERNANP and gore Junín V

On 18 January, the National Protected Areas SERNANP state and the Regional Government of Junín gave a important step in launching the project "Strengthening the Protected Areas System and the establishment of Regional Conservation Junín."

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Manager of Natural Resources Junín Region, the coordinator of the East-Central Link SERNANP Territorial and headquarters of the seven protected areas located in this region, the Reserva Nacional de Junin, Nor Yauyos Cochas National Park Otishi, Chacamaraca Historic Sanctuary, the National Shrine Pampa Hermosa, Asháninka Communal Reserve and the Forest Protection Pui Pui.
The Nor Yauyos car was the venue for the meeting of the drafting of the agreement to be signed between the SERNANP and the Regional Government of Junín. community rangers and staff Cochas Nor Yauyos strengthened its capabilities in body language workshop and management of Puppets conducted on 10 and 11 in the district of Alis where, besides its Teatrino Muppets and characters and their pets represented in Andean Cat dolls Deer attendees learned from the presentation to the recreation of a play focused on the conservation of the environment, thereby strengthening the work developed within the ANP.

V Puppet Volunteer Ranger Program The Nor Yauyos Cochas (From January 20 to March 31, 2011)

The Nor Yauyos Cochas is pleased to invite 5th grade students and graduates of college education or graduated from college, national or foreign, to V RANGERS VOLUNTEER PROGRAM, to be held on 20 January to March 31, 2011. On the other hand you can have six (06) volunteers throughout the year (submit your proposal).

The opportunities offered are related to obtaining knowledge and experience in situ conservation through protected natural areas and promoting research.
Requirements:
  • Letter of intent or interest. • Letter of introduction by the institution or teacher (optional).
  • Resume undocumented. • Profile project to be undertaken during the program (optional). • Good health and physical capacity for field work (Lima and Junin 2500 to 4500 m).

Offered:

  • Training in management of protected areas. • Work material necessary for the research project • Mobility within the ANP. • Accommodation in the ANP (Checkpoint) • Food partial (70%).
