On 15 and 16 February, representatives of the International Union for Conservation of Nature IUCN-Sur-trained staff of Nor Yauyos Cochas on "Environmental Interpretation and Signs for Ancient Ways", in order to teach the proper way to communicate the importance of each protected area has for the country's sustainable development.

The workshop was also strategic involvement of the chiefs, specialists and rangers from the National Reserve of Junin Chacamarca Historic Sanctuary and National Shrine of Huayllay, with the aim of sharing in different the proposed interpretive scenarios reveal a framework of issues relevant to communicate to people who actually come to the ANP.

The design of the proposed interpretation for each area was based on a methodology that was to redefine a resource assessment, a plan themes and content, and then select the message and the means to communicate. All this taking into consideration three key assumptions: do we want to know, what we want them to feel and experience how it will happen.

worth noting that this workshop was held under the project "Use and Conservation of Biodiversity Associated with the Ancestral Trail Network Andean-Gran Ruta Inca ", implemented by the General Secretariat of the Andean Community-CAN General Secretariat, the Mountain Institute and IUCN-South ancestral ways Sangay National Park (Ecuador), Huscaran Biosphere Reserve and Nor Yauyos lakes.
